How to Choose the Ideal Professional Juicer for Your Restaurant or Cafeteria

What to consider when choosing a HoReCa juicer?

  • Type of produce: Orange juice is the best-selling juice in the world, making OJ a profitable addition to your beverage menu. We have OJ and citrus juicers and multi-produce juicers. You may require more than one type of juicer!
  • Expected juice volume: Project how many servings or gallons of juice you plan to sell each day. You may start out with a small but efficient citrus juicer and upgrade to a high-volume or multi-produce juicer as demand increases.
  • Space and operational flow: One of the biggest challenges with competing professional juicers is that they’re too big. If they weren’t built-in to the original floorplan or counter layout, they won’t work for you. We have options that require as little as .3 meters of counter space!
  • Serving type: Create a unique food experience by determining if you want to serve made-to-order juice or if you want to pre-squeeze some (or all) of your juice. If you want to pre-bottle a high-volume of juice, a cold press maximizes freshness and ensures zero foam or separation.
  • Ease of use: All of our HoReCa juicers are ergonomic and intuitive. Some are designed for self-serve use and are safe enough for children to use, while some are employee-only juicers.
  • Performance: We designed our technology with efficiency in mind. Juice more fruits per minute, more juice per fruit and veggie, and monitor performance within the Zumex app.

Soul Series 2

The Soul Series 2 is a small but mighty low-volume citrus juicer. It’s an excellent solution for breakfast service and testing your new juice line item. 

  • Produce type: Oranges, tangerines, lemons, and limes.
  • Fruits per minute: Squeeze up to 18 fruits per minute with our smallest model.
  • Service type: Self-serve single servings or back-of-the-house juicer.
  • Space: Requires .3 meters of counter space, plus space to stock citrus and drinkware.
  • Placement: Countertop or juice cart.
  • Colors: Black with smoke grey, natural sand, or light green. Or white with smoke grey or natural sand.

Essential Pro

The Essential Pro is a mid-volume juicer that’s ideal for pre-juicing multiple gallons per day or a high-volume of made-to-order juice.   

  • Produce type: Oranges, tangerines, lemons, and limes.
  • Fruits per minute: Squeeze up to 22 fruits per minute with 4 to 5 fruits in the feed tube at a time.
  • Service type: Self-serve single servings or automatic back-of-the-house juicer.
  • Space: Requires .46 meters of counter space, plus space to stock fruit and drinkware.
  • Placement: Countertop with or without an elevation kit.
  • Colors: Black, graphite, or orange.

Versatile Pro

The Versatile Pro allows you to load more oranges into the feed bin for high-volume citrus juicing. If you don’t have counter space, mount on a Zumex rolling podium or free-standing podium.

  • Produce type: Oranges, tangerines, lemons, and limes.
  • Fruits per minute: Squeeze up to 22 fruits per minute with up to 35 pounds of citrus in the feed bin at a time.
  • Service type: Self-serve single servings or automatic back-of-the-house juicer.
  • Space: Requires 4.8 meters of counter space, plus space to stock fruit and drinkware.
  • Colors: Orange, black, or graphite.

Centrifugal juicer

Our Multifruit Extractor enables you to create signature juice recipes. With a 3-inch diameter feed tube, less chopping is required. Fruits and vegetables are shred by the titanium disk within and strained for vibrant, smooth, and nutritious juice.

  • Produce type: All fruits, vegetables, and fresh herbs.
  • Fruits per minute: Extracts up to 1/2 gallon per minute.
  • Service type: Back-of-the-house juicer.
  • Space: Requires .3 meters of counter space, plus space to chop and stock produce and drinkware.
  • Colors: Black, white, graphite, silver, and cherry.

Cold press

The Zumex Cold Press is the gold-standard in juicing technology. Pressing juice generates less heat and retains more digestive enzymes. This ensures juice is foam-free with zero oxidation and separation. Only large melons must be cut in half, all other produce is juiced whole. Pressing is a top choice for pre-bottling a high-volume of fresh juice.

  • Produce type: All fruits, vegetables, and fresh herbs.
  • Fruits per minute: Juices up to 30 gallons per hour.
  • Service type: Industrial back-of-the-house juicer.
  • Space: Floor standing, 2.1 meters tall, .74 meters wide, .94 meters deep.
