The demand for pomegranates, the superfood of the moment, is growing strongly, but their consumption continues to pose challenges. Thus, after having spearheaded the retail boom in freshly squeezed orange juice, ZUMEX®, the world leader in juicing systems, is set on leading the implementation of freshly squeezed pomegranate juice with its new Speed Pomegranates machine, which has been designed to efficiently juice pomegranates and thus harness their potential in retail environments.
To achieve this, the firm has designed this powerful, robust and autonomous juicer from scratch, which has enabled it to take a giant leap towards becoming a specialist in the pomegranate juice business. In fact, the new Speed Pomegranates is the first high performance juicer specifically designed to juice pomegranates. It offers unprecedented autonomy with over 100 kg of non-stop production, the highest figure for a juicer without the need for an operator.
To reach these impressive figures, these machines are fitted with a new juicing system for pomegranates based on the patented Original System®, this time in a deep-red colour, which has been specifically designed to tackle the thickness and hardness of this fruit’s resistant peel. This system also has an accessory S Kit for juicing smaller fruit, thus catering for a wide range of fruit sizes.
