  • What are the most common juices that can be prepared with Zumex Multifruit?

Any type of fruit or vegetable (1) can be blended to obtain natural juices that can be consumed by themselves, combined or as a complement for more complex recipes.

The most common juices are carrot, apple and pear, but melons, water melons, pineapples and peaches (1) are also popular. However, consumption of the various types of juices is strongly conditioned by the time of year and, above all, by the cultural habits of the country.

    (1) Citrus fruits should not be blended. Their juice is much better in Zumex juicers because Zumex squeezing process avoids essential oils to contact the juice. Fruits with a large amount of fibre or a low percentage of juice (such as avocados or bananas) should not be squeezed.

  • Does the fruit need to be sliced before it is juiced?

The width of the feeder of Zumex Multifruit makes work easier because a whole apple or several carrots, for example, can be inserted without slicing them. Only fruits with a diameter greater than 86 mm have to be sliced.

  • Does the fruit need to be peeled before it is juiced?

The whole fruit can be blended without peeling it if the rind is edible. Fruits with non-edible rinds, such as kiwis, pineapples or water melons, do have to be peeled. If the fruit has a stone, it will have to be removed.
